The Nave lets you place two kinds of words before the community: a prayer request — something you are carrying that you would like others to carry with you — and a testimony — an account of something you believe has been done in your life.
Both are read by a person on our small team before they appear. We review everything; we verify nothing — a testimony is your account, offered in your words.
Requests and testimonies in your own words, under your first name or anonymously — whichever you choose.
The hard things. Illness, grief, fear, waiting, family trouble — this is what it is for. You do not need to make it presentable.
Gratitude, in any size.
Anything that identifies another person. First names are enough — full names, hospitals, schools, employers, phone numbers and addresses are removed or declined. Other people did not choose to be written about.
Anything about money. No fundraising, no requests for help with costs, no links. A prayer request is never a collection plate.
Anything that treats prayer as a replacement for a doctor's care — declined out of love for whoever might read it.
Details that identify a child beyond a relationship word. Children cannot consent to being written about.
Attacks on any person or group. The wall is a pew, not a platform.
The wall is not a fast channel, and no one may see your words tonight. If you are in immediate danger, or thinking of harming yourself, please use the resources the app shows you or contact local emergency services. When a request tells us someone is in danger, we respond to them privately — those words are never published. That is a promise.
You may take back a request or testimony at any time, and it is gone.
A prayer request rests after fourteen days. You can renew it, or mark it answered — answered requests move to a quiet place of gratitude.
Anonymous means your name is never attached, anywhere.
Every published request and testimony carries a way to report it and a way to never see its author again. Reports reach a person, and we act on them within a day.
